Durham Region opens applications for 2026 Community Safety and Well-Being Fund until May 22
Durham Region’s Community Safety and Well-Being Secretariat is accepting applications from April 27 to May 22, 2026, for its Community Safety and Well-Being (CSWB) Fund grant program.
The fund is intended to support not-for-profit organizations and community groups running violence-prevention initiatives in Durham Region, according to the region’s public notice.
The 2026 program is organized into three funding streams: Stream One, the Direct Intervention Fund; Stream Two, the Community Strengthening Fund; and Stream Three, the Intimate Partner Violence and Gender Based Violence Prevention and Response Fund.
Applications for all three streams are due May 22, 2026.
The notice does not include the total amount of funding available through the program.
Durham Region has also not described, in the notice, how applications will be assessed.
