Durham Region Seeks Uxbridge Resident for Environment Committee Vacancy

The Durham Environment and Climate Advisory Committee (DECAC) is seeking a resident of Uxbridge to fill a vacancy, according to Durham Region. DECAC provides advice to Durham Regional Council on environmental and climate change matters in Durham.

This vacancy is open to individuals who live in the Township of Uxbridge. According to Durham Region, a strong interest in environmental matters is required, and academic qualifications or work experience in fields such as energy, housing, transportation, or conservation will be considered an asset. Applicants must also be available to attend monthly evening DECAC meetings.
