Durham Region to Conduct Business Count in Spring and Summer

The Region of Durham has announced that its Business Count program will take place during the spring and summer months. The Region reported that businesses in municipalities including Clarington will be able to provide information either online or through in-person visits from the Business Count team.

According to the Region of Durham, the purpose of the Business Count is to collect details about businesses, including type of business, number of employees, and contact information. Staff from the Region will be visiting businesses in the area to gather this information, in addition to offering an online submission option.

The Region stated that information collected through this program is intended to be used for planning and resource allocation. All information about the program’s timing, scope, and methods comes from the Region of Durham’s announcement.
