Durham Region will hold Curbside Giveaway Day on Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., according to information published by the regional government. On this day, residents may place unwanted items in good condition at the curb, clearly marked as "Free," for others to take.

The event is open to all Durham Region residents who wish to participate. Participants are expected to return any items that are not taken back to their homes after 7 p.m.
