Durham Region Transit (DRT) will introduce Route 618 on Monday, October 30, 2023. According to DRT, this new service will connect the communities of Uxbridge, Port Perry, and Beaverton.

DRT states that Route 618 will operate seven days a week, offering multiple daily trips. The service is planned to link passengers with GO Transit and other DRT routes, with schedules and stop locations set by DRT.
