Durham Region Transit detours Route 905 in Port Perry June 10–Nov. 17 for Union Avenue closure

Durham Region Transit will detour Route 905 in Port Perry from 8 a.m. Tuesday, June 10, 2025, to 5 p.m. Monday, Nov. 17, 2025, while Union Avenue is closed between Victoria Street and Josephine Street. Buses will operate via Victoria Street and Old Simcoe Road.

The change affects riders who use stops on Union Avenue, King Street and Old Simcoe Road in Port Perry. Durham Region Transit posted the advisory on Oct. 9.

The following stops will be closed during construction:

All stops on Union Avenue between Victoria Street and King Street.
All stops on King Street between Union Avenue and Old Simcoe Road.
All stops on Old Simcoe Road between King Street and Victoria Street.

Buses will serve temporary stops at:

Victoria Street westbound at Ash Avenue.
Victoria Street eastbound at Ash Avenue.
