Durham Region Transit Offers 2-for-1 Summer Youth Pass for Teens in 2025
Durham Region Transit (DRT) is offering a 2-for-1 Summer Youth Pass for individuals ages 13 to 19 in 2025. According to DRT, purchasing a July youth pass for $107.42 before July 15, 2025, will result in an August pass being automatically loaded onto the customer’s PRESTO card at no extra cost. DRT states that these passes provide unlimited travel on DRT buses from July 1 to August 31, 2025.
DRT reports that proof of age, including a birth date, must be presented when buying the pass in person. Passes can be purchased beginning June 21, 2025.
According to DRT, the passes are available at several sales locations: The Shops at Pickering City Centre (Guest Services), DRT Customer Service in Ajax, Region of Durham Headquarters in Whitby, Oshawa Centre (Guest Services), and the Township of Scugog office in Port Perry. DRT also lists online purchasing options at prestocard.ca and through the PRESTO app on iOS and Android devices. As noted by DRT, the Summer Youth Pass is not available through the PRESTO e-ticket app.
