Environment Day Collection Event Scheduled for Clarington on August 16
Durham Region will hold an Environment Day collection event in Clarington on Saturday, August 16, 2025, from 8 a.m. to noon at Clarington Operations Depot 42, 178 Darlington-Clarke Townline Road in Bowmanville, south of Highway 2. The event will take place rain or shine.

According to Durham Region, residents may also bring non-perishable food items for donation to a local food bank. Boxes and cans for donation should not be damaged, opened, or expired.
Event preparation tips and further information are available at durham.ca/WasteEvents or through the Durham Region Waste App.
