Fresh Prep recalls Chorizo & Sweet Potato Tacos over undeclared wheat, CFIA says
Fresh Prep Foods Inc. is recalling Fresh Prep Chorizo & Sweet Potato Tacos (Chorizo Tacos) because the product contains undeclared wheat, according to a Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) notification last updated Feb. 5, 2026. The CFIA said the product was distributed in Alberta and British Columbia.

The CFIA listed the recall as Class 3 with identification number RA-81564. The recall date is Jan. 28, 2026.
