Harvest Festival book sale Oct. 4 at Newcastle Library

Clarington Library, Museums & Archives will hold a one-day book sale on Saturday, Oct. 4, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Newcastle Library, 160 King Ave. E., in Newcastle. Admission is free and no registration is required.

The sale is part of the Harvest Festival and is open to all ages in a drop-in format. Proceeds will support Clarington Library, Museums & Archives.

The sale is an annual event during the festival.

Used materials will be available for purchase. Shoppers can fill a CLMA bag for $10.

Donations of materials will be accepted at all CLMA locations from Monday, Sept. 22 to Thursday, Oct. 2.

Accepted items include books, DVDs and video games.
