Lane restrictions on Shirely Road in Scugog to continue until end of May 2026

Lane restrictions are in place on Shirely Road (Regional Road 19) in the Township of Scugog, from 50 metres west of Old Scugog Road to 35 metres west of Regional Road 57, and are scheduled to remain until the end of May 2026, according to Durham Region.

The restrictions may affect travel through the area for the next year as Durham Region carries out work on the road.

Durham Region said the lane restrictions are in place to allow road rehabilitation to be completed safely.

The Region asked drivers to use caution in the work zone for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews.
