Lane restrictions on Thickson Road North in Brooklin expected to remain until April 30, Durham Region says

Lane restrictions on Thickson Road North (Regional Road 26) in Brooklin, Whitby, are expected to remain in place until April 30 as a watermain is installed between Carnwith Drive East and Baldwin Street North, Durham Region says.

The restrictions affect a stretch of Thickson Road North within Brooklin and may last longer if weather conditions affect the work schedule, according to the Region.

Durham Region says the lane restrictions are needed to allow a watermain installation in support of new development.

The Region is asking drivers to use caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews.
