Lane restrictions planned on Island Road in Scugog from May 19 to June 2026

Lane restrictions are scheduled on Island Road (Regional Road 7) in the Township of Scugog from May 19 to June 2026 for road rehabilitation work, Durham Region says.

The restrictions are expected to remain in place into June 2026, which could affect travel between Fralicks Beach Road and Hood Drive for an extended period. The schedule may change due to unfavourable weather conditions.

Durham Region said the lane restrictions will apply along Island Road between Fralicks Beach Road and Hood Drive.

Drivers are asked to use caution near pedestrians, cyclists and work crews.
