Lane restrictions planned on Zephyr Road in Uxbridge from June 1 to July 31

Lane restrictions will be in place on parts of Zephyr Road (Regional Road 13) in the Township of Uxbridge from June 1 to July 31 while Durham Region carries out road rehabilitation work.

Drivers using Zephyr Road should expect delays and plan extra time during the construction period, Durham Region said. The schedule may change due to unfavourable weather.

The restrictions cover two sections of Zephyr Road: from 30 metres east of Concession Road 4 to 350 metres west of Concession Road 5, and from 350 metres west of Concession Road 6 to 30 metres west of Concession Road 7.

Durham Region said other road and bridge work is also ongoing on Zephyr Road between Concession Road 3 and Concession Road 7, which is also signed as Regional Road 1.

Drivers are asked to use caution in the work zone for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews, according to the region.
