Lane Restrictions Scheduled for Baldwin Street South in Whitby Starting July 7

Durham Region announced there will be lane restrictions on Baldwin Street South (Regional Highway 12) in Whitby from July 7 to August 20. The restrictions will affect the area from north of Taunton Road East (Regional Road 4) to south of Garden Street. The Region said the schedule may change if there are unfavourable weather conditions.

The work is being carried out to complete road resurfacing, according to Durham Region. The Region said the work may be disruptive during this period.

Durham Region has asked drivers to exercise caution in the construction area, noting the safety of pedestrians, cyclists, and work crews. The Region provides a live interactive map with current construction and traffic information at durham.ca/TrafficWatch.
