Lane Restrictions Scheduled for Highway 2 in Courtice from August to December

Lane restrictions will be in place on Durham Regional Highway 2 in Courtice from August 18 to December 16, according to Durham Region. The affected area spans both eastbound and westbound lanes between 100 metres west of Prestonvale Road and 100 metres west of Trulls Road.

According to Durham Region, these restrictions are required to allow for the installation of a sanitary sewer and related services as part of local development. Unfavourable weather may affect the work schedule.

Durham Region has advised drivers to exercise caution in the construction area for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists, and work crews.
