Lane Restrictions Scheduled for Taunton and Anderson Intersection in Whitby

Durham Region announced upcoming lane restrictions at the intersection of Taunton Road East and Anderson Street in Whitby, with work set to start around June 9 and last until December, according to a statement released on June 4.

The temporary traffic changes will affect both Taunton Road East, from 250 metres west to 300 metres east of Anderson Street, and Anderson Street, from 200 metres south to 200 metres north of Taunton Road East. The Region stated that the restrictions are necessary for modifications at the intersection.

Durham Region noted that the construction schedule may change due to weather. All businesses in the construction area will remain open throughout the work.
