Lane Restrictions Scheduled for Thickson Road South in Whitby from May 29 to 31

The Region of Durham has advised that lane restrictions will be in place on Thickson Road South in Whitby from May 29 to 31. The affected stretch is between Victoria Street (Regional Road 22) and Wentworth Street (Regional Road 60).

The Region states that these restrictions are required to complete asphalt paving. The Region notes that the work schedule may change if weather conditions are unfavourable, and traffic delays are expected during this period.

According to the Region, drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists, and work crews while the work is underway.
