LEAF Virtual Volunteer Orientation Scheduled for September 10

A virtual volunteer orientation session organized by LEAF is set for September 10, 2025, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., according to an event notice posted by LEAF. Registration is required to attend, and the session will be delivered online using Zoom.

The orientation is open to people interested in volunteering for LEAF’s programs in Toronto, York Region, and Durham Region, which includes Clarington. According to LEAF, volunteer roles include participating in community tree planting, assisting at outreach events, providing event photography, and offering administrative support. LEAF also notes that participation in community planting and stewardship events may be recognized as high school volunteer hours for eligible students.
