Loader Stolen from Township of Brock Business, Police Seek Information

Police are investigating the theft of a loader from a commercial property in the Township of Brock. According to the Durham Regional Police Service, the incident occurred at approximately 4:15 a.m. on Thursday, September 4, 2025, in the area of Brock Concession Road 14 and Highway 12.

Police reported that a John Deere J244 loader, equipped with only a front bucket, was stolen from the site. A photograph of the machine has been released as part of the investigation. No description of the suspect is currently available, according to police.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked by police to contact Constable Rendell of North Division at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 2684. Police stated that anonymous tips can also be provided to Durham Regional Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477, and tipsters may be eligible for a $2,000 cash reward.
