Local Organizations Awarded CSWB Fund for Youth Initiatives

Several organizations in the Durham Region have been granted funding through the Community Safety and Well-Being (CSWB) Fund. This initiative aims to support projects that focus on youth development and community safety. The CSWB Fund is part of a broader effort to enhance community safety and promote positive youth engagement.

The funding will be allocated to various programs designed to address issues such as youth violence prevention, mental health support, and community engagement. These programs are expected to provide resources and opportunities for young people to develop skills and build supportive networks.

The CSWB Fund is a collaborative effort involving multiple stakeholders, including local government bodies and community organizations. The goal is to create safer environments for youth and to foster community resilience through targeted interventions.

This funding is part of a larger strategy to promote safety and well-being across the region, with a particular focus on empowering young people and addressing the root causes of community safety concerns.
