Man Arrested in Oshawa on Charges Related to Pickering GO Stabbing, Police Report
A man suspected in the stabbing at Pickering GO station was arrested by police in Oshawa on July 31, 2025, according to the Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS).
Police said officers from Central East Division responded at around 9:40 a.m. to a suspicious person call near John Street West and Nassau Street in Oshawa. The suspect was taken into custody without incident, DRPS stated.
The individual arrested has been identified by police as Corey Voskamp, age 30, of no fixed address. DRPS reported that Voskamp faces charges of aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace, and five counts of breaching probation. He was held for a bail hearing.
According to DRPS, the West Division Criminal Investigations Branch is seeking information from the public about the incident. Police noted that the allegations against Voskamp have not been proven in court.
