Share

Momchipz Veggie Chips (Bell Pepper Chips) in an 85 g package, sold online in Ontario, have been recalled because the product has undeclared wheat, according to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA). The CFIA lists a recall date of Sept. 5, 2026; the agency’s notice was originally published Sept. 16, 2026.

The recall matters for people with wheat allergies or celiac disease, since undeclared wheat (and gluten) can cause a serious or life-threatening reaction in those affected.

The CFIA said consumers and retailers should not use, sell, serve or distribute the affected product.

The affected product is identified as Momchipz Veggie Chips (Bell Pepper Chips), size 85 g, with UPC 6 28634 44218 0 and a best-before date of Aug. 31, 2026.

The CFIA lists Exotique Foods Inc. as the recalling firm.

The agency classified the recall as Class 2 and assigned identification number RA-82630.

The CFIA also issued a separate recall for Momchipz Veggie Chips (Broccoli Florets & Cauliflower) due to undeclared wheat.
