North Oshawa Bus Routes Detouring for Conlin and Grandview Road Work Starting August 24
Durham Region Transit (DRT) will change the routes of five bus lines in north Oshawa because of road construction at the intersection of Conlin Road and Grandview Street. The detours will begin Sunday, August 24, 2025, at 5:00 a.m. and remain in effect until further notice. The affected routes are PULSE 915, PULSE 916, 410, 419, and N1, according to DRT.
DRT has stated these detours are necessary to maintain service while the intersection is closed for road work, which directly impacts regular travel on these routes.
PULSE 915 will detour using Coldstream Drive, Harmony Road, Conlin Road, Riverton Street, and Black Cherry Drive. Riders in the Woodstream Avenue area are advised by DRT to use Route 410 instead. PULSE 916 will detour on Conlin Road, Riverton Street, and Black Cherry Drive. During the detour, both PULSE 915 and 916 will only serve stop #94349 located on Harmony Road northbound at Conlin Road for both directions.
Route 410 will take Grandview Street, Woodstream Avenue, Townline Road, and Coldstream Drive. DRT has announced that Route 419 will use Harmony Road and will not serve Grandview Street; riders who normally use Route 419 on Grandview Street are advised by DRT to use Route 410 instead. Route N1 will travel along Coldstream Drive, Grandview Street, and Woodstream Avenue. DRT reports that all regular stops along each detour route will still be served.
Temporary southbound stops will be available on Townline Road south of Woodstream Avenue and on Grandview Street south of Woodstream Avenue during the work.
No end date has been given for the completion of this road work or the end of the detours. All information is based on DRT’s announcement dated August 23, 2025.
