North Shore Fishery Frozen Cumin Flavour Shrimp Recalled for Undeclared Wheat

North Shore Fishery brand Frozen Cumin Flavour Shrimp has been recalled due to undeclared wheat, according to a notification from the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) published on July 31, 2025. The affected product includes 300-gram packages with the UPC 8 00794 39087 1, and lot numbers 39087 20260907, VN443IV030, as well as packages marked with the best before date 2026.09.07.

The CFIA states that the presence of undeclared wheat may pose a risk to individuals with a wheat allergy. Distribution of the product included retail and warehouse outlets in Alberta, British Columbia, and Ontario.

Watson Enterprises Inc. is named as the recalling firm by the CFIA. The agency advises consumers not to use, sell, serve, or distribute the identified packages. The recall is classified as Class 3, which the CFIA defines as a situation where adverse health consequences are unlikely or remote.
