Online feedback open until Feb. 6 on playground design for Newcastle’s Belmont Park
Clarington is building Belmont Park, a new neighbourhood park at 155 Belmont Drive in Newcastle, and residents can submit online feedback on the playground design until Feb. 6, 2026.
The municipality is collecting input during the park’s design phase on the playground’s features, equipment style and colour palette.
According to the Municipality of Clarington’s notice, Belmont Park will include a multi-skills court for basketball and ball hockey, a playground, walking paths, a shade structure, seating and open space.
The site is adjacent to the Belmont House heritage property. The municipality’s notice says the park’s design is expected to include storytelling and signage related to Belmont House.
