Ontario Tech Spring Convocation runs June 3–5 in Oshawa, with about 2,600 graduates

Ontario Tech University will hold its Spring Convocation June 3 to 5 at Polonsky Commons on the university’s north Oshawa campus, with about 2,600 graduates set to take part.

The ceremonies will include the presentation of six honorary degrees, and Ontario Tech says people who cannot attend in person will be able to watch the ceremonies online via a livestream.

Honorary degree recipients include Tabatha Bull, president and chief executive officer of the Canadian Council for Indigenous Business, and Nick Eaves, chief operating officer at Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment.

The remaining recipients are Nitin Jain, president and CEO of Sienna Senior Living, and Ralph Lean, whom the university describes as a lawyer, business leader and philanthropist.

Also receiving honorary degrees are Mark Mulroney, global vice chair at CIBC, and Vanessa Mulroney, co-founder of Power of Privé.

Ontario Tech said convocation will take place at its north Oshawa campus at 2000 Simcoe Street North.
