Ontario Tech University Marks National Philanthropy Day with Donor Recognition in Oshawa

Ontario Tech University in Oshawa recognized donors, partners, and volunteers on November 15 in observance of National Philanthropy Day, according to an announcement on the university’s website.

National Philanthropy Day acknowledges the contributions of individuals and organizations that provide various forms of support to the university. For local residents connected to Ontario Tech, the recognition highlights those who are involved in the university’s activities and student programs.

According to the announcement, donor support provides Ontario Tech students with access to advanced facilities, research opportunities, and experiential learning experiences. James Barnett, the university’s Vice-President, Advancement, stated, “Ontario Tech University is profoundly grateful for the kindness and generosity of its donors, partners and volunteers.”
