Ontario Tech University to Recognize More Than 2,200 Graduates and Six Honorary Doctorate Recipients in June Ceremonies
Ontario Tech University announced it will confer more than 2,200 degrees at six ceremonies from June 4 to June 6 at Polonsky Commons on its north Oshawa campus.
According to the university, this convocation will add over 2,200 graduates to its alumni, bringing the total to more than 31,000 members.
Six individuals are set to receive honorary doctorates at the ceremonies. Ontario Tech states the recipients are Donato Ardellini, Janet Bannister, Arlene Dickinson, Dr. Christopher Mushquash, Stephen Poloz, and the Honourable Michael H. Tulloch. Ardellini is listed as Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Environmental 360 Solutions; Bannister as Founder and General Partner of Staircase Ventures; Dickinson as Founder and General Partner of District Ventures Capital; Dr. Mushquash as Professor at Lakehead University and the Northern Ontario School of Medicine University; Poloz as former Governor of the Bank of Canada and board member of Enbridge and CGI Inc.; and Tulloch as Chief Justice of Ontario and President of the Court of Appeal for Ontario.
