Ontario Works office at Oshawa’s Midtown Mall set to reopen Feb. 11 after flooding closure

The Ontario Works office at Midtown Mall, 200 John St. W. in Oshawa, is scheduled to reopen Wednesday, Feb. 11, after closing last week for cleaning and repairs following flooding, according to Durham Region.

The office provides Ontario Works services for local clients, and the reopening means the Midtown Mall location is expected to be available again after the temporary closure.

Durham Region said the office was closed “this past week” because flooding required cleaning and repairs. The region did not provide details on what caused the flooding or what repairs were completed.

Durham Region’s notice did not announce any changes to services when the office reopens.
