Ontario Works office at Oshawa’s Midtown Mall temporarily closed due to flooding, Durham Region says
The Ontario Works office at Midtown Mall, 200 John Street West in Oshawa, is temporarily closed due to flooding, according to Durham Region.
The closure means the office is not open for in-person visits while the flooding issue is addressed. Durham Region did not provide a reopening date.
In an update posted Feb. 4, Durham Region said staff are assessing the situation and will share updates when more information is available.
Durham Region’s notice identified the affected site as the Ontario Works Office located at Midtown Mall in Oshawa and cited flooding as the reason for the temporary closure.
