Overnight closure Nov. 4–5: Bowmanville Avenue (Regional Road 57) from Byers Rd to Concession Rd 10

The Region of Durham will temporarily close Bowmanville Avenue (Regional Road 57) in Clarington between Byers Road and Concession Road 10 from 8 p.m. on November 4 to 5 a.m. on November 5 as part of construction to replace the Burketon Station bridge over the Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC) Railway.

The overnight closure will stop through traffic on this section during late evening and early morning hours. Unfavourable weather may affect the work schedule. The Region asked drivers to use caution near the work area for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews.

No detour routes were provided in the notice.

Bowmanville Avenue is also signed as Regional Road 57.
