Police Report Motorcyclist Found Deceased After Collision in Clarington

A 47-year-old man was found deceased after a single-vehicle motorcycle collision in Clarington on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, according to Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS). Police located the unresponsive man at approximately 1:20 p.m. near Concession Road 6 and Vickers Road.

Police said the man had been reported missing by family members earlier in the day.

According to DRPS, the man was driving eastbound on Concession Road 6 when his motorcycle slowly crossed into the westbound lanes and entered a ditch, resulting in the man being ejected from the vehicle. DRPS stated it is believed the collision was the result of a medical episode.

Members of the DRPS Collision Investigation Unit attended the scene to conduct an investigation. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Detective Constable Hoevenaars of the Traffic Services Branch at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 5227. Anonymous tips can be provided to Durham Regional Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477, and tipsters may be eligible for a $2,000 cash reward.
