Police Searching for Suspects After Assault in Pickering Leaves One Injured

Police are searching for two male suspects after a man was seriously injured during an altercation at a residence in Pickering on Saturday, June 28, 2025. According to Durham Regional Police, officers responded at approximately 4:50 p.m. to a call in the area of Chapman Drive and Cornwall Drive.

The incident resulted in one person being transported to hospital with injuries described by police as serious but not life-threatening. Police located three people inside the residence when they arrived.

According to a statement from Durham Regional Police, the two suspects went to the house and became involved in a physical confrontation with one of the residents. The suspects left the area before police arrived at the scene.

Police are asking anyone who may have video footage, including home surveillance or dashcam recordings from the area, to contact the West Criminal Investigations Branch. Anonymous tips can also be submitted to Durham Regional Crime Stoppers online or by phone.
