Police Searching for Two Suspects After Assault in Pickering Leaves Man Injured

Police are searching for two male suspects after an assault at a residence in Pickering on Saturday, June 28, 2025, resulted in a man being taken to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

According to the Durham Regional Police Service, officers from West Division responded to a call of unknown trouble at a home in the Chapman Drive and Cornwall Drive area at about 4:50 p.m. Police said the suspects went to the house, and a physical altercation occurred between them and one of the residents. The suspects left the area before police arrived.

When officers entered the residence, they found three people inside, including one person with serious injuries. Police stated the injured individual was transported to a local hospital. Police are asking anyone who may have home surveillance or dashcam footage from the area around the time of the incident to contact Detective Constable Westcott of the West Criminal Investigations Branch at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 2528.
