Police Searching for Two Suspects After Reported Home Invasion in Pickering

Police are searching for two suspects after a home invasion was reported in Pickering on Saturday, July 5. According to Durham Regional Police, officers from the West Division responded to the area of Creekview Circle and Downland Drive at approximately 5:00 a.m., where two individuals allegedly broke into a residence and assaulted the victim.

The victim was treated at a local hospital for minor injuries received during the incident. Police stated that the suspects fled the scene after taking property from the home.

Authorities reported that the suspect vehicle has been recovered outside the region. As of July 9, investigators continue to search for the two individuals involved. Police believe that this was an isolated incident.

The investigation is being conducted by members of the West Division Criminal Investigations Branch. The Durham Regional Police Service has asked anyone with information regarding this incident to contact their investigators or to submit an anonymous tip through Durham Regional Crime Stoppers.
