Police Seek Public Assistance After Youth Stabbed in Ajax

Investigators with Durham Regional Police are seeking assistance from the public after a 16-year-old was stabbed in Ajax on Friday, June 13, 2025, near Audley Road and Lythgoe Lane at approximately 11:55 p.m.

Police say their request follows multiple 9-1-1 calls reporting a fight in the area. According to the department, the victim later went to a local hospital with stab wounds.

The suspect is described by police as a white male, 15 years old, approximately 5'9" tall, with blonde curly hair. At the time of the incident, he was reportedly wearing a black hoodie, black jeans, and a gold belt.

Anyone with information is asked by police to contact Detective Constable Davis of the West Criminal Investigations Branch at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 2561. Police advise that anonymous tips can be provided to Durham Regional Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or through their website. According to police, tipsters may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000.
