Police Seek Public Help Identifying Suspect After Oshawa Stabbing
Two people were stabbed at the intersection of Albert Street and Albany Street in Oshawa on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at about 1:30 p.m., according to Durham Regional Police. Officers responded to the scene and found both victims injured on the sidewalk. Police said the victims were transported to a local hospital, where they remain in stable condition.
This incident has prompted police to appeal to the public for assistance as their investigation continues. The request includes anyone who was in the area and may have cellphone or dashcam video that could assist investigators.
According to police, the suspect is described as a Black male, approximately 6 feet 5 inches tall and weighing around 250 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue t-shirt and jeans, and fled the scene on a bicycle.
