Police Seek Suspect After Stabbing at Pickering GO Station

A suspect is being sought after a stabbing at the Pickering GO station early Monday morning. According to the Durham Regional Police Service, officers responded to the station at 1322 Bayly Street at approximately 12:05 a.m. on July 28. The victim was walking to their car in the parking lot when the suspect approached and stabbed them before fleeing northbound. The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police have requested that anyone who witnessed the incident or who has information contact the West Criminal Investigations Branch. The suspect is described by police as a white male wearing a black sweater and red pants. A photograph of the suspect has been published and is available on the Durham Regional Police Service website. Police advise that information can also be provided anonymously through Durham Regional Crime Stoppers, and tipsters may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000.
