Police Seek Suspect in Stabbing at Pickering GO Station

Corey Voskamp has been identified by the Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) as the suspect in a stabbing that occurred early on July 28, 2025, at the Pickering GO station at 1322 Bayly Street. Police say the incident happened around 12:05 a.m. in the station's parking lot, where the victim was walking to their car when they were approached and stabbed. According to police, the suspect fled northbound before officers arrived. The victim was transported to hospital with injuries described as non-life threatening by police.

DRPS reports that Voskamp, age 30 and of no fixed address, is wanted for aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon dangerous to public peace, and four counts of failing to comply with a probation order. Police describe Voskamp as a white male, slim build, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall, with short brown hair. According to police, Voskamp is known to ride the GO train corridor between Oshawa and Oakville.

The DRPS says Voskamp is considered armed and dangerous and advises the public not to approach him. Police advise anyone who sees him to call 9-1-1 immediately. A photo of Voskamp is available on the DRPS website.

Anyone with information about the incident can contact the West Criminal Investigations Branch at the Durham Regional Police Service. Anonymous tips may be provided to Durham Regional Crime Stoppers, and tipsters may be eligible for a cash reward. Police note that all allegations have yet to be proven in court.
