Police Seek Two Suspects After Armed Home Invasion Reported in Ajax

Police are looking for two suspects following an armed home invasion reported in the area of Williamson Drive West and Tozer Crescent in Ajax. According to the Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS), the incident occurred on Monday, April 28, 2025, at about 5:35 p.m. Police say the homeowner opened the door after hearing a knock, and two individuals then forced their way inside. One suspect displayed a firearm and demanded jewellery. The suspects left after taking a quantity of cash, electronics, and about $10,000 worth of jewellery. No physical injuries were reported by the homeowner.

The DRPS stated that they believe the incident is isolated.

Police described the first suspect as a male, Black, possibly with braided hair, wearing all black clothing. The second suspect is described as a male, Black with a light complexion, wearing a grey sweater. The suspects were associated with a black Toyota Camry four-door sedan with tinted rear windows and alloy rims. Photographs of the suspect vehicle can be viewed on the DRPS website (www.drps.ca).

The investigation is ongoing. Police have asked anyone who witnessed the incident, or who may have video footage such as home surveillance or dashcam, to contact the DRPS. The case is being handled by the West Division Criminal Investigations Branch.
