Rainfall Creates Wet Conditions at Clarington Sports Fields for May 23–25

Recent rainfall has created wet conditions on baseball diamonds and sports fields in Clarington for the weekend of May 23 to 25.

A notice published on the Municipality of Clarington's website states that these conditions may be unsafe for athletes. Sports leagues, parents, and participants have been asked to consider safety when preparing for activities over the weekend.

The Municipality advised that each sports league will make its own decision on whether to cancel games or practices, based on current field conditions. Participants are encouraged to check directly with their individual league to confirm the status of scheduled events.
