Road closures set around Memorial Park in Bowmanville for Terry Fox Run on Sept. 20

Several roads around Memorial Park in Bowmanville will be closed Sunday, Sept. 20, 2026, from 9 to 10 a.m. for the Clarington Terry Fox Run, which is scheduled to start at 10 a.m. in the park.

The closures mean drivers in the area will need to take detours during the one-hour window. The Municipality of Clarington said emergency access will be maintained throughout the closures.

The affected roads are:

Park Drive, from Liberty Street to Hunt Street
Hunt Street, from Park Drive to Nelson Street
Nelson Street, from Hunt Street to Nelson Parkette
