Route 211 Detour in Pickering on June 27 Due to Pickering Parkway Closure

Durham Region Transit (DRT) will detour Route 211 in Pickering on Friday, June 27, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. due to a construction-related closure of Pickering Parkway between Valley Farm Road and Brock Road, according to DRT.

This service change affects riders who use stops along Pickering Parkway within the closed area. All regular stops on Pickering Parkway between Valley Farm Road and Brock Road will be closed for the duration of the construction.

DRT stated that buses on Route 211 will operate along Brock Road, Kingston Road, and Valley Farm Road during the closure. Temporary stops will be available on Pickering Parkway west of Valley Farm Road for both westbound and eastbound routes.
