Route 502 Detour Announced for July 1 Canada Day Event in Bowmanville

Durham Region Transit has announced that Route 502 in Bowmanville will follow a detour on Tuesday, July 1, from 7:00 a.m. to midnight, due to a Canada Day event in the Clarington Boulevard area.

According to Durham Region Transit, buses will operate via King Street and Clarington Boulevard during the detour. The transit authority states that Route 502 will not serve the following road segments north of King Street:

Green Road between Brookhill Boulevard and King Street
Brookhill Boulevard between Green Road and Clarington Boulevard
Clarington Boulevard between Brookhill Boulevard and King Street
King Street between Green Road and Clarington Boulevard

These changes will be in effect only during the specified hours of the Canada Day event.
