Search Ongoing for Missing Teen in Whitby

The Durham Regional Police Service is actively searching for a 15-year-old male named Michael, who has been missing since October 14, 2024. Michael was last seen in the vicinity of Goodfellow Street and McQuay Boulevard in Whitby. Authorities have expressed concerns for his well-being.

Michael is described as a Black male, approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall, with a thin build and short black hair. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a black zippered hooded sweatshirt and dark blue track pants.

The police have requested that anyone with information regarding Michael's whereabouts contact their local police department. In Durham Region, individuals can reach out to D/Cst. Gouldby of the Central West Criminal Investigations Branch at 1-888-579-1520, extension 1805. Additionally, anonymous tips can be provided to Durham Regional Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or through their website, with the possibility of a $2,000 cash reward for information leading to Michael's location.
