Shirley Road Lane Restrictions in Scugog Scheduled for Late May to June

Lane restrictions are scheduled on Shirley Road (Regional Road 19) in the Township of Scugog from May 24 to June 20, 2025, according to the Region of Durham. The restrictions will impact both eastbound and westbound lanes between Simcoe Street and 0.5 kilometres east of Graham Road. The Region states that weather conditions may affect the project schedule.

According to the Region of Durham, this work is being undertaken to resurface the targeted section of Shirley Road. The project will also include the paving of shoulders and the addition of new pavement markings. This information is relevant for residents and drivers in the area who may experience changes to usual traffic flows during the work period.
