Solina Park Tennis Courts to Close July 2 for Upgrades

The tennis courts at Solina Park, 1964 Concession Road 6, will be closed for upgrades starting July 2, 2025, according to the Municipality of Clarington. The municipality expects the courts to reopen in fall 2025.

The upgrades, as outlined by the municipality, will include new asphalt court surfacing with an acrylic playing surface, upgraded fencing and netting, and the addition of a shared basketball area on one of the courts.

During the closure, the Municipality of Clarington has advised that residents can use the tennis courts at Avondale Park in Courtice as an alternative. The municipality has not provided further detail about the precise reopening date.
