Stellar Drive in Whitby to Have Daytime Lane Restrictions September 8–12

Daytime lane restrictions are planned for Stellar Drive in Whitby from September 8 to 12, according to Durham Region. The restrictions will affect the section between 850 metres and one kilometre west of Thornton Road South.

Durham Region stated the lane restrictions are required to repair asphalt in support of new development. The Region advised that all work will take place during daylight hours only, and the schedule may change if weather conditions are unfavourable.

Drivers are asked by Durham Region to use caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists, and work crews. The Region also provides a live interactive map with current construction and traffic updates at durham.ca/TrafficWatch.
