Stories from Camp 30 Presentation Set for August at Bowmanville Heritage Centre

A presentation featuring Camp 30 tour guide Ron Alldred will take place on Saturday, August 16, 2025, from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. at the Sarah Jane Williams Heritage Centre, 62 Temperance Street in Bowmanville. Organizers recommend registration for this adult-oriented event, but walk-ins are welcome if space allows. The event is free to attend.

This session is part of an ongoing speaker series. According to the event description, Alldred will share accounts of prisoner of war escape attempts, the Battle of Bowmanville, and other stories related to Camp 30. The event is presented in partnership with the Jury Lands Foundation and is funded by the Ontario Trillium Foundation.
